Description
A fast-paced and growing New York City based design and marketing firm is seeking a highly talented Graphic Designer with WordPress Development/ Design experience to work part-time or full-time. The ideal candidate is creative, professional, possesses a good understanding of the design process, and is able to adhere to deadlines.
Applicant must have previous experience and an immaculate portfolio.
Responsibilities
â?¢ Execute design based on creative direction and vision
â?¢ Provide solutions through the use of coding to ensure maximum functionality
â?¢ Code, test and debug websites/applications
â?¢ Set project timelines, milestones and deadlines
â?¢ Ensure cross-browser compatibility of work products with the major web browsers
â?¢ Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
â?¢ B.A./B.S.
â?¢ 2-4 years experience
â?¢ WordPress design and development
â?¢ HTML 5/XHTML
â?¢ CSS
â?¢ jQuery
â?¢ Adobe CS 5 (Indesign; Photoshop; Illustrator)
â?¢ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
â?¢ Strong attention to detail when developing front-end user interfaces
â?¢ Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot problems in code
â?¢ Photography skills a plus
â?¢ Must be able to provide design work portfolio for interview
